Marc Kemeny is the founder and principal architect of K Square Designs. He recieved a Masters in Architecture from Columbia University in 1976 and a B.A. from Reed College in 1972.
With over 25 years of experience as an architect, Marc has steered K Square Designs through prosperity and recessions, accumulating expertise in many of the challenging fields of architectural practice, including -
- Adaptive reuse, including the conversion of commercial/industrial buildings to residential use
- Renovation of residential buildings
- Renovation of apartments, including merging multiple units, rehabilitation, and design of luxury apartments
- Commercial interiors
- Attorney General Condominium Offering Plans, condo/co-op reports and plans, and Tax Surveyor submittals
- Renovation of landmark buildings
- New construction, both residential and commercial
- Forensic analysis and building evaluation
Marc also serves on the board of directors of the art foundation Art Omi, as well as the Bronx based settlement home Bronxworks.
